On my way to rehearsal on Saturday, the fog was just right. The rain was steady, and the landscape was wearing the fog as a beautiful veil, covering just enough to give it an ambient gloom. Black metal weather, I thought. Black metal weather, covering the very same landscape where black metal was born.
